Moving out? The deposit is the point.
In Belgium your deposit is one to three months of rent, and the état des lieux decides how much of it comes back. If your contract says the walls go back to their original colour, that is not a suggestion.

Do you speak English?
Yes. English, French and Portuguese. You will not be handed a form in Dutch.
What does painting a flat in Brussels cost?
It depends on the surface, the state of the walls, and how much preparation they need before any paint goes on. A room with sound walls and a room with cracks, filled holes and old wallpaper are not the same job, and pricing either one over the phone would be guessing. We come and measure, and you get the price in writing within 48 hours. The visit is free and you are not committing to anything.
How fast do I get a price?
We come and measure within five working days, and the written quote follows within 48 hours.
Is the start date in writing?
Start date and end date, both in the quote. Without a written date you have no recourse if it slips, and you are right to ask for it.
Will my deposit be safe?
If the état des lieux is the reason you are painting, tell us the inspection date first and we plan backwards from it. We have never handed a flat back late.
Do you cover the floors?
Floors, furniture and sockets, before the first tin is opened. Decorative concrete makes dust, and dust does not stay in one room unless someone stops it.
Who am I actually hiring?
ERO Painting is the painting arm of Freitas Group SRL, a registered Belgian company, BCE 1041.906.890, based in Uccle. Your quote and your invoice carry that name and that VAT number. Same people either way.
Can you work evenings or weekends?
Yes, and for offices and shops it is usually the better plan.
